On 13 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Kuwait, visited the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kuwait to sign the book of condolences in honour of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, former Emir of the State of Qatar and the father of H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
