On 12 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. U Chan Aye, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged insights and assessment regarding the ongoing tensions in the region. In addition, the ambassadors also discussed the cooperation and engagement with relevant authorities and the diplomatic community in Kuwait.
