สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต นำคณะผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจคูเวตเข้าพบกับนางสาวฐนิตา ศิริทรัพย์ รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน ณ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI)

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๘ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๙ นางอุไรวรรณ กูร์โตด์ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา และนายธนภัทร ชื่นอารมณ์ เลขานุการโท ได้นำคณะผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจคูเวตเข้าพบกับนางสาวฐนิตา ศิริทรัพย์ รองเลขาธิการคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน ณ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) เพื่อรับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับนโยบายและมาตรการส่งเสริมการลงทุนของไทย รวมถึงโอกาสทางธุรกิจและการลงทุนในประเทศไทยในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว นายพลพัฒน์ นภาวรานนท์ ผู้อำนวยการกองพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการไทย ได้จัดการบรรยายสรุปเกี่ยวกับภาพรวมแนวโน้มเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนของประเทศไทย สิทธิประโยชน์ด้านการลงทุนสำหรับนักลงทุนต่างชาติ ตลอดจนบทบาทของประเทศไทยในฐานะศูนย์กลางทางเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และโลจิสติกส์ของภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ โดยเน้นย้ำถึงศักยภาพของประเทศไทยในการรองรับการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย โดยเฉพาะอุตสาหกรรมอาหารและเกษตรแปรรูป ซึ่งเป็นสาขาที่ฝ่ายคูเวตให้ความสนใจเป็นพิเศษ

ทั้งนี้ คณะผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจคูเวตได้แสดงความสนใจต่อโอกาสการลงทุนและการจัดตั้งฐานธุรกิจในประเทศไทย เพื่อใช้ประโยชน์จากจุดแข็งของอุตสาหกรรมอาหารไทย ตลอดจนศักยภาพของประเทศไทยในการเป็นประตูเชื่อมโยงห่วงโซ่อุปทานและการส่งออกสินค้าไปยังตลาดคูเวตและ GCC อันจะช่วยส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการค้าระหว่างไทยกับคูเวตให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้นในอนาคต

On 28 May 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Minister Counsellor, and Mr. Dhanaphatra Chuenarom, Second Secretary, led a delegation of Kuwaiti business representatives to a meeting with Ms. Tanita Sirisup, Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), at the Office of the Board of Investment. The delegation received a briefing on Thailand’s investment promotion policies and incentives, as well as business and investment opportunities in high-potential sectors in Thailand.

On this occasion, Mr. Polapat Naphavaranonth, Director of the Thai Enterprise Development Division, delivered a briefing on Thailand’s economic outlook and investment trends, investment incentives available to foreign investors, and Thailand’s role as a regional hub for trade, commerce, and logistics in Southeast Asia. He highlighted Thailand’s strong potential to support investment in targeted industries, particularly the food and agro-processing sector, which is an area of particular interest to the Kuwaiti side.

The Kuwaiti business representatives expressed keen interest in investment opportunities and the establishment of business operations in Thailand in order to leverage the strengths of Thailand’s food industry, as well as the country’s strategic position as a gateway for supply chain connectivity and exports to Kuwait and GCC markets. Such cooperation is expected to further strengthen economic and trade relations between Thailand and Kuwait in the years ahead.
