On 18 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand received H.E. Mrs. Amanda Jane Riethmuller, Ambassador-Designate of the Commonwealth of Australia to the State of Kuwait, upon her assumption of duty.

On this occasion, both sides discussed issues of mutual interest and exchanged insights on consular matters as well as the engagement with relevant authorities and the diplomatic community in Kuwait. In addition, the ambassadors also shared professional experiences in international law.
