เมื่อวันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2566 นายเอกพล พูลพิพัฒน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะ H.E. Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศคูเวต ในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งหน้าที่ ในโอกาสนี้ ได้ยื่นสำเนาพระราชสาส์นตราตั้งฯ และหารือเกี่ยวกับการเพิ่มพูนความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน ซึ่งปีนี้เป็นวาระครบรอบ 60 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย-คูเวต ในการนี้ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะสร้างพลวัตในความร่วมมือทวิภาคีด้านการเมืองและเศรษฐกิจ และการสนับสนุนบทบาทและท่าทีของคูเวตและไทยในกรอบความร่วมมืออาเซียน ACD และ OIC

On 26 July 2023, His Excellency Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Kuwait paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait upon the assumption of duties. His Excellency the Ambassador-designate presented a copy of Letter of Credence to His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs. On this occasion, both sides reaffirmed commitments to strengthening and enhancing dynamic cooperation between the two countries at all levels and fields of cooperation. Both sides also commended the auspicious occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Thailand - Kuwait diplomatic relations this year as commemorative events and activities would be organized.
