On 7 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. Ulrich Frank, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged insights and assessment regarding the ongoing tensions in the region. In addition, the ambassadors also discussed consular matters of mutual interest.
