On 22 October 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d’Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy, presided over a ceremony to pay homage on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on 24 October 2026. The ceremony was followed by a public sandalwood flower-laying ceremony, during which a sandalwood flower was laid on behalf of the Thai community. The ceremony was attended by officials and staff members of the Embassy, together with their spouses, and representatives of the Thai community in Kuwait.
