On 30 March 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Kuwait, together with officials from the Consular Section, facilitated eight Thai nationals who intended to travel back to Thailand. The trip was arranged by their employer in Kuwait.

On this occasion, the Ambassador also provided them with supply bags for their journey home.

The Embassy would like to express appreciation to the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh and Thailand’s Office of Labour Affairs in Saudi Arabia for their close coordination and facilitation in ensuring safe return of Thai nationals.
