On 6 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand met with H.E. Mr. Jang Hyun KIM, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the State of Kuwait upon H.E Mr. Kim's assumption of duty.

On this occasion, both sides discussed issues of mutual interests and exchanged insights and assessment regarding the situation in the region. In addition, the ambassadors also discussed the promotion of livelihood of their respective nationals in Kuwait.
