On 23 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand to the State of Kuwait, met with H.E. Dr. Nasser Radan Thamer Al-Motairi, Secretary-General of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) at ACD Secretariat Office.

On this occasion, both sides discussed Thailand’s ACD Chairmanship in 2025 and exchanged views on ways to further enhance cooperation under the ACD framework to achieve more tangible outcomes amidst current regional and global challenges. The Ambassador also reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment, as a founding member, to supporting the ACD’s transformation into a leading regional international organization and a vital platform for promoting economic cooperation among its member states.
