On 7 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Kuwait paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo Najot, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kuwait, upon his assumption of duty.

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasised Thailand’s commitment to working with the diplomatic corps in Kuwait to strengthen collaboration and relations within the diplomatic community. During the meeting, the two sides also exchanged views on regional developments and underscored the role of diplomacy in promoting mutual understanding, cooperation and peace.
