On 19  November 2013, H.E. Ambassador of Thailand and his wife, together with the Embassy staff, watched the Asian Cup 2015 Qualifiers football match between Thailand and Kuwait.  In the end, Kuwait beat Thailand with score 3-1.  The Thai footballers ran to greet their Thai fans of around 100.

On 20 November 2013, H.E. Ambassador of Thailand hosted a lunch reception for the Thai National Football Team at the Ambassador Residence.
