On 17 July 2019, Ambassador Dusit Manapan joined other ASEAN Ambassadors and CDAs in Kuwait at the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Festival organised by Lulu Hypermarket. The Festival showcased fresh and processed food, fruits as well as varieties of products from ASEAN countries. The festival helped to promote ASEAN products and raised local awareness of ASEAN’s presence. Lulu, which controls 32 per cent of the market of consumer goods and products in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region, has been importing a lot of goods from ASEAN countries, especially Thailand.
