On 2 May 2019, the Tourism Authority of Thailand hosted an event “Amazing Thailand Post ATM Roadshow 2019 to Kuwait” at JW Marritott Hotel, Kuwait City. The main objective of this event is to create a forum for business matching between Thai and Kuwaiti private sectors. Forty five Thai companies in hospital, hotel and fun park businesses and more than fifty local travel agencies participated in the event.

Ambassador Dusit Manapan opened the event by thanking Kuwaitis for choosing Thailand as their tourism destinations, focusing on variety of tourist’s attractions and facilities to accommodate travelers, and inviting the Kuwaiti travelers to explore new activities and destinations in the country. Mrs. Srisuda Wanapinyosak, TAT Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Americas) welcomed the participants and reiterated the importance of the Middle East market to the Thai tourism, citing especially female travelers who are usually the main decision maker in selecting the tour destinations and activities. She also highlighted that Thailand has a lot of things to offer for everyone, ranging from arts and culture, luxury, comfort and natural attractions.

During the event, Keng Tachaya Pathumwan or Keng The Voice entertained the guests with a set of impressive performances perfectly blending the classical Thai music and dances with western songs.
