The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait, in cooperation with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Dubai Office, brought a group of leading Kuwaiti press and TV reporters to Thailand from 24 – 31 2019. During the visit, the group met and had interviews with Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Pakarathon  Tienchai, Governor of Chonburi Province, Mr. Ronnakit Ekasing, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, and visited many tourist attraction spots in Bangkok and the provinces of Chonburi, Rayong and Trat. The group also visited the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and met with its management team, during which the group had expressed great impression on the hospital's state of the art facilities and specialisation.

More than 70,000 high-spending Kuwaiti travelers visit Thailand each year. This visit to Thailand of the Kuwaiti media was aimed at promoting the awareness of the Kuwaiti public on the latest developments, especially in the field of tourism, through the Kuwaiti media. The visit achieved its objectives as shown by a number of writings about the trip in the local newspapers. The visit would not have been successful without the excellent cooperation from all agencies involved in the well-arranged programmes, informative briefings and hospitable treat.
