During 14-18 February 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait and the Thai students Society in Kuwait co-organised an academic lecture “Radicalization of Islam”. Dr. Anas Amatayakul adjunct professor from Thammasat University was invited to give lecture to Thai students in Kuwait on the topic which focused on the roles of Thai Muslim students and how they can develop the right attitude and mindset on the true Islam teaching and beliefs as well as adjust themselves to the changing world.

The lecture took place at the assembly hall of Grand Mosque and went successfully and smoothly. The students showed enthusiasm in exchanging ideas and dialogues among themselves and with the professor on the subject. The event fulfilled its purpose in providing the Thai Muslim students in Kuwait with good understanding of Islam, raising awareness on the roles of the student in the society as a good Muslim and preparing themselves for the changing world so that they can respond well to the radicalization of Islam.
