On 5 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. Salah Ali Al Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged insights and assessment regarding the ongoing tensions in the region. In particular, the discussion focused on the impacts on the livelihood of communities in the affected areas and consular matters of mutual interest.
