On 17 September 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait led a delegation of representatives from leading private hospitals in Thailand on visits to two prominent Hospitals in Kuwait (Dar Al Shifa Hospital and New Mowasat Hospital). The visits aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge on hospital management and medical service delivery, while also exploring opportunities to expand cooperation in health services and wellness tourism between hospitals in both countries.

The visits provided an opportunity for the Thai delegation to meet with the management teams and medical professionals of both hospitals to learn about their medical service standards, healthcare system structure, and patient needs in Kuwait. This engagement helped enhance the delegation’s understanding of the local healthcare market and is expected to contribute to the development of collaborative initiatives that effectively respond to the local needs.

The visits were also an integral part of the “Rediscovering Health and Wellness Tourism in Thailand” event, which aims to comprehensively strengthen bilateral cooperation in the fields of health services and wellness tourism between Thailand and Kuwait.
