เมื่อวันที่ 23 มกราคม 2566 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้มอบประกาศนียบัตรและตราสัญลักษณ์ Thai SELECT ให้แก่ร้านอาหาร Pattaya Beach Restaurant ณ เขต Salmiya ซึ่งคุณ Talal Waleed A. Al Awadhi เจ้าของร้านเป็นผู้รับมอบ ทั้งนี้ ตราสัญลักษณ์ Thai SELECT เป็นเครื่องหมายรับรองคุณภาพอาหารและบริการของร้านอาหารไทยทั่วโลกที่รับรองโดยกระทรวงพาณิชย์ โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมมือกับสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ เมืองดูไบ ดำเนินโครงการมอบตราสัญลักษณ์ Thai SELECT แก่ร้านอาหารไทยในคูเวตที่มีคุณภาพและรักษาเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทย เพื่อส่งเสริมอาหารไทยให้เป็นที่นิยมในคูเวตอย่างต่อเนื่อง

On 23 January 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy, Kuwait presented the "Thai SELECT" certificate and logo to Mr. Talal Waleed A. Al Awadhi, the owner of Pattaya Beach Restaurant at Salmiya District. The Thai SELECT certificate and logo aims to certify the quality of foods and services of Thai restaurants wolrdwide approved by the Ministry of Commerce. To approve the Thai SELECT certificate in Kuwait, the Embassy shall cooperate with the Thai Trade Center, Middle East Office at Dubai to select Thai restaurants with good quality and services to continuously promote authentic taste and true image of Thailand.
