เมื่อวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2566 นายวัฒนชัย นิรันดร อุปทูตฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงานสัมมนาด้านความมั่นคง หัวข้อ "Strategic Communication in Fighting Terrorism" ซึ่งจัดโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างกระทรวงการต่างประเทศคูเวตและสำนักงานคณะผู้แทนสหภาพยุโรปประจำคูเวต ณ Kuwait National Library

การสัมมนาเป็นการถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ในการรับมือกับการก่อการร้ายซึ่งคูเวตถือว่ามีความสำเร็จในการดำเนินการด้านนี้อย่างมาก เห็นได้จากการก่อการร้ายครั้งล่าสุดเกิดขึ้นเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2015 และปัจจุบันความสนใจของเยาวชนเกี่ยวกับการเข้าร่วมกับกลุ่มหัวรุนแรงต่าง ๆ มีน้อยลงอย่างมาก (จากสถิติการเข้าถึงเว็บไซต์ที่เฝ้าระวัง)

On 17 January 2023 Mr. Wattanachai Nirundorn, Charge d' Affaires, attended the seminar on "Strategic Communication in Fighting Terrorism" organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and Delegation of the European Union to the State of Kuwait at Kuwait National Library.

The seminar aimed to share experiences and best practices of Kuwait in preventing and combating Terrorism. It is one of the successful state in handling the terrorism. In fact, the last terrorist incident in Kuwait was in 2015. Moreover, the statistic shows that websites that involve the extremists are very less popular among the youths and accessible rate is very low.
