เมื่อวันที่ 19 ธันวาคม 2566 นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี ลงนามถวายความอาลัย เชค นาวาฟ อัลอะห์มัด อัลญาบิร อัศเศาะบาฮ์ (His Highness the Late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah) เจ้าผู้ครองรัฐคูเวต ณ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตคูเวตประจำประเทศไทย 

อนึ่ง นายกรัฐมนตรีสั่งการให้ส่วนราชการ ลดธงชาติลงครึ่งเสาเป็นเวลา 3 วัน เพื่อถวายความอาลัยแด่พระองค์ด้วย

On 19 December 2023, His Excellency Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Thailand visited the Kuwait Embassy in Thailand and signed the condolence book on the demise of His Highness the Late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Excellency the Prime Minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Ambassador of Kuwait to Thailand, His Excellency Mohammad Husain M A Alfailakawi.

His Excellency the Prime Minister ordered the national flag be lowered to half-mast at all government agencies and Thailand's diplomatic missions abroad for three days in mourning of His Highness the Late Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
