การส่งเสริมการลงทุน ความร่วมมือด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม
เมื่อวันที่ ๒๒ - ๒๗ กันยายน ๒๕๖๗ เอกอัครราชทูตนำคณะผู้แทนบริษัท EnerTech Holding ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทย่อยของ The National Technology Enterprises Company (NTEC) ภายใต้ Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) เดินทางไปเยือนประเทศไทย เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อสนเทศทางธุรกิจและแสวงหาความร่วมมือในสาขาเศรษฐกิจสีเขียวกับบริษัทชั้นนำและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของไทย ในด้านพลังงานหมุนเวียน การบริหารจัดการขยะ รีไซเคิล การบำบัดน้ำ เกษตรยั่งยืน และความมั่นคงทางอาหาร โดยเอกอัครราชทูตได้นำฝ่ายคูเวต เข้าพบหารือกับผู้บริหารระดับสูงของบริษัทชั้นนำของไทย ได้แก่ บริษัท บ้านปู จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท บ้านปู เน็กซ์ จำกัด บริษัท กัลฟ์ เอ็นเนอร์จี ดีเวลลอปเมนท์ จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท อีโค อินฟินิค จำกัด และบริษัท ฟาร์มาแฟ็กซ์ จำกัด ในการนี้ได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อสนเทศด้านการส่งเสริมการลงทุนระหว่างกัน กับสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI) และสำนักงานคณะกรรมการนโยบายเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC) นอกจากนั้น ฝ่ายคูเวตได้เยี่ยมชมศูนย์วิทยาศาสตร์ฮาลาล จุฬาลงการณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งแสดงถึงความก้าวหน้าของนวัตกรรมอาหารของไทย อันเป็นการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงทางอาหารระหว่างไทยกับคูเวต
Investment Promotion and Technology and Innovation Collaboration
On 22-27 September 2024, H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, led a business delegation from EnerTech Holding Company, a fully owned subsidiary of the National Technology Enterprises Company to visit Thailand. The mission was to exchange information and strengthen business relations and research cooperation in areas of green economy, renewable energy, waste and water management, clean technologies, sustainable agriculture and food security with leading companies in those sectors in Thailand, including Banpu Public Company Limited, Banpu NEXT Company Limited, Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited, Eco Inifinic Company Limited and PhamaFac Company Limited. The delegation also met with investment promotion authorities: the office of Board of Investment (BOI) and the office of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). In addition, the delegation paid a study visit to the Halal Science Center, Chulalongkorn University, which provided Halal forensic science laboratories, research and innovation, and services to public, private and academic sectors. This food innovation helps advance cooperation in food security between Thailand and Kuwait.
