หนังสือพิมพ์อาหรับไทม์ ฉบับวันที่ 27 ธันวาคม ค.ศ. 2023 ลงบทสัมภาษณ์ นายเอกพล พูลพิพัฒน์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต โดยได้ระบุโอกาสในการขยายความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุน และสาขาทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างกัน

เอกอัครราชทูตได้ย้ำถึงปัจจัยสนับสนุนการขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือ ได้แก่ กลไกการปรึกษาหารือ ข้อตกลงนโยบาย มาตรการ โครงการต่าง ๆ รวมทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวัฒนธรรมและการไปมาหาสู่ของประชาชนทั้งสองประเทศ

ในการนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 26 ธันวาคม 2566 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือกับ Mr. Baddah Al-Sahli, Acting President ของสหพันธ์สหกรณ์ผู้บริโภคคูเวต และเมื่อวันที่ 27 ธันวาคม 2566 เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือกับ Mr. Imad Al-Zaid, Assistant Director General ของสภาหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมคูเวต ซึ่งทุกฝ่ายเห็นศักยภาพกันและกันที่จะขยายความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมกันต่อไป ในการนี้ได้ร่วมกันวางแนวทางจัดกิจกรรมความร่วมมือสำหรับปีหน้านี้ ได้แก่ การแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนธุรกิจ การจับคู่ธุรกิจ การจัดงานแสดงสินค้าและการแสดงวัฒนธรรม เป็นต้น

Enhancing  trade, investment, and economic cooperation

27 December 2023, The Arab Times published an interview "Rediscover Thailand: Ambassador Calls on Kuwaiti Investors" by His Excellency Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador of Thailand. He pointed out that the Royal Thai Embassy has been actively pursuing not only Kuwait's investment in Thailand but also Thailand's investment in Kuwait.

We aim to increase the economic and cultural exchange, volumes of bilateral trade, and the number of Kuwaiti tourists visiting Thailand.

He reaffirmed that we have already established fundamental mechanisms and agreements for facilitating bilateral cooperation and created favorable environments for foreign investment.

On 26 December 2023, His Excellency the Ambassador had a meeting with Mr. Baddah Al-Sahli, Acting President of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies, and, on 27 December 2023, had a meeting with Mr. Imad Al-Zaid, Assistant Director General of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. All of them had shown interest in enhancing further cooperation with Thailand. Trade fairs, Thai festivals, business matchings, roadshows, exchanges of business delegations as well as cultural exchange programs are included in our cooperation work plans next year.
