เมื่อวันที่ 7 กันยายน 2566 นายเอกพล พูลพิพัฒน์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีส่งมอบตำแหน่งประธานคณะกรรมการอาเซียน ณ คูเวต (ASEAN Committee in Kuwait - ACK) จัดขึ้นที่โรงแรม Marina Hotel Salmiya โดย H.E. Alauddin Mohd Nor เอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซีย ส่งมอบตำแหน่งประธานตามวาระหมุนเวียนทุกหกเดือนแก่ H.E. Jose A. Cabrera III เอกอัครราชทูตฟิลิปปินส์ (กันยายน 2566 - กุมภาพันธ์ 2567) ในระหว่างวาระการดำรงตำแหน่งประธาน ACK ของเอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซียนั้น นอกเหนือจากการจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่าง ACK ด้วยกันแล้ว ยังได้กระชับความร่วมมือระหว่างคูเวตกับ ACK และผลักดันให้คูเวตสามารถลงนามภาคยานุวัติสารเข้าเป็นอัครภาคีสนธิสัญญามิตรภาพและความร่วมมือในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ในระหว่างการประชุมสุดยอดอาเซียนครั้งที่ 43 และการประชุมสุดยอดที่เกี่ยวข้องที่กรุงจาการ์ตา

On September 7, 2023. H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Kuwait attended the handover ceremony of the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) Chairmanship from H.E. Alauddin Mohd Nor, Ambassador of Malaysia to H.E. Jose A. Cabrera III, Ambassador of the Philippines (September 2023 - February 2024). During H.E. Alauddin Mohd Nor's tenure as ACK Chairman in the past 6 months, a series of meetings and activities were organized to promote cooperation among the ACK. It also strengthened cooperation between Kuwait and ACK and actively supported Kuwait to the signing of the Instrument of Accession to the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation in Southeast Asia during the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Jakarta, adding up High Contracting Parties to the TAC to 54 States/Organizations.
