เอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต เข้าร่วมงานเฉลิมฉลองวันอาเซียน ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยคณะกรรมการอาเซียนในคูเวต (ASEAN Committee in Kuwait: ACK)

เมื่อวันที่ ๙ สิงหาคม ๒๕๖๙ นายทรงชัย ชัยปฏิยุทธ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต ได้เข้าร่วมงานเฉลิมฉลองวันอาเซียน ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยคณะกรรมการอาเซียนในคูเวต (ASEAN Committee in Kuwait: ACK) ที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูตมาเลเซีย โดยมีนาย Haji Sulaini bin Haji Said เอกอัครราชทูตบรูไนประจำรัฐคูเวต ประธาน ACK เป็นประธานและนาย Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmad ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศคูเวต ฝ่ายกิจการเอเชีย เป็นผู้แทนกระทรวงการต่างประเทศคูเวตเข้าร่วมงานในฐานะแขกเกียรติยศ

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นในโอกาสครบรอบ ๕๙ ปี สมาคมประชาชาติแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้หรืออาเซียน ซึ่งก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ ๘ สิงหาคม ๒๕๑๐ และมีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศสมาชิกและระหว่างภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้กับภูมิภาคอื่น ๆ โดยที่ผ่านมา มีการจัดการประชุม ASEAN-GCC Summit มาแล้วสองครั้งในปี ๒๕๖๖ ที่กรุงริยาด ซาอุดีอาระเบียและปี ๒๕๖๘ ที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ มาเลเซีย


Ambassador of Thailand attended the ASEAN Day Celebration organised by ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK)

On 9 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand, attended the ASEAN Day Celebration organised by ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) at the Embassy of Malaysia, chaired by H.E. Mr. Haji Sulaini bin Haji Said, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Kuwait and the current ACK chairperson. As the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Mr. Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.

The event commemorates the 59th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Established on 8 August 1967, ASEAN has played an important role in strengthening cooperation among Member States and between Southeast Asia and other regions. Until now, the Association has convened two ASEAN-GCC Summits – in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2023 and in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2025.
