On 18 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. Sied M. Jibril, Ambassador of Ethiopia to the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged insights and assessment regarding the situation in the region, particularly the protection of their respective nationals in Kuwait. In addition, the ambassadors also discussed the promotion of bilateral relations with Kuwait and the engagement with relevant authorities.
