On 27 April 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand, met with H.E. Mrs. Melissa Kelly, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides shared their experiences on the engagement with relevant authorities and the diplomatic community in Kuwait. During the meeting, the ambassadors also exchanged insights and assessment regarding the ongoing tensions in the region as well as consular matters of mutual interest.
