ในโอกาสดังกล่าว นายวุฒิวัฒน์ฯ ได้นำเสนอศักยภาพและขีดความสามารถของบริษัทมาร์ซัน จำกัด (มหาชน) ในด้านการออกแบบและต่อเรือ ตลอดจนประสบการณ์ในการพัฒนาเรือสำหรับภารกิจด้านความมั่นคงและการรักษาความปลอดภัยทางทะเล โดยฝ่ายไทยได้รับฟังข้อมูลภารกิจและความต้องการของกองกำลังยามฝั่งคูเวต ซึ่งบริษัทไทยมีศักยภาพของในการสนับสนุนภารกิจดังกล่าว อนึ่ง ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้หารือถึงแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและการสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจระหว่างภาคเอกชนไทยกับหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของคูเวตในสาขาอุตสาหกรรมต่อเรือและเทคโนโลยีทางทะเล

การพบหารือครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการดำเนินภารกิจการทูตเศรษฐกิจเชิงรุกของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งของความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับคูเวต โดยมุ่งสนับสนุนการขยายโอกาสทางธุรกิจของภาคเอกชนไทยในตลาดคูเวต ควบคู่กับการนำเสนอศักยภาพของอุตสาหกรรมป้องกันประเทศของไทย เพื่อตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องของคูเวต และแสวงหาแนวทางความร่วมมือที่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ร่วมกันแก่ทั้งสองฝ่าย

On 14 September 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d’Affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy, accompanied Mr. Wutthiwat Atthaseriruj, Vice President of Marsun Public Company Limited, on a courtesy call and an introductory meeting with H.E. Sheikh Mubarak Ali Al-Sabah, Commodore and Director General of the Kuwait Coast Guard at the Sabah Al-Ahmad Coast Guard Base.

On this occasion, Mr. Wuttiwat had the opportunity to present the capabilities and expertise of Marsun Public Company Limited in ship design and construction, as well as the company’s experience in developing vessels for maritime security and safety missions. The Thai side received information on the requirements of the Kuwait Coast Guard, for which the Thai company has the potential to provide support. Both sides also exchanged views on ways to promote cooperation and create business opportunities between Thai private-sector companies and relevant Kuwaiti agencies in the shipbuilding and maritime technology sectors.

This introductory meeting forms part of the Royal Thai Embassy’s proactive economic diplomacy efforts to further strengthen relations and cooperation between Thailand and Kuwait, with a focus on facilitating greater business opportunities for Thai private-sector companies in the Kuwaiti market, while showcasing the capabilities of Thailand’s defence industry to address the needs of relevant Kuwaiti authorities and exploring avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.
