On 8 March 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d'Affaires a.i., met with 17 Thai workers who have been stranded in Kuwait after the termination of their employment contracts. On this occasion, the Chargée d'Affaires and the embassy’s staff discussed the workers’ well-being and concerns amidst the ongoing situation in the region as well as provided food and emergency kits to the workers. At present, the embassy is closely coordinating with their employer and relevant authorities to facilitate the preparation for their travel back to Thailand.
