อุปทูตรักษาการฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน Al-Abdali Farmers Festival ครั้งที่ ๕

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๖ ตุลาคม ๒๕๖๙ นางอุไรวรรณ กูร์โตด์ อุปทูตรักษาการฯ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ คูเวต ได้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน Al-Abdali Farmers Festival ครั้งที่ ๕ ณ Al-Mawashi Hall (เขต Al-Rai) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี เพื่อสนับสนุนเกษตรกรท้องถิ่นและเสริมสร้างความตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของความมั่นคงทางอาหารของคูเวต

ในโอกาสนี้ อุปทูตฯ ได้หารือกับนาย Saleh Badar Al-Dhubaib ผู้นำหนึ่งในกลุ่มเกษตรกรในเขต Al-Abdali เกี่ยวกับผลผลิตภาคเกษตรกรรมและการเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงทางอาหารของคูเวต ตลอดจนโอกาสในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการเกษตรและอาหารระหว่างไทยกับคูเวต อนึ่ง ผลผลิตภาคเกษตรกรรมของคูเวตสามารถรองรับความต้องการบริโภคภายในประเทศได้ประมาณร้อยละ ๕ ในปัจจุบัน

Chargée d’Affaires a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy Attends the Opening Ceremony of the 5th Al-Abdali Farmers Festival

On 26 October 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d’Affaires, a.i. of the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait, attended the opening ceremony of the 5th Al-Abdali Farmers Festival at Al-Mawashi Hall in the Al-Rai area. The annual festival seeks to promote local agricultural production, support farmers, and highlight the importance of food security in Kuwait.

On this occasion, the Chargée d’Affaires also held discussions with Mr. Saleh Badar Al-Dhubaib, Supervisor of one of Farmers Associations in the Al-Abdali area, on Kuwait’s agricultural production and efforts to strengthen its food security, as well as opportunities to promote agricultural and food cooperation between Thailand and Kuwait, as Kuwait’s domestic agricultural production currently meets only approximately 5 percent of the country’s total domestic consumption demand.
