On 21 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, together with H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Kuwait, Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs, and Ms. Jiraporn Wattanasophorn, Director of the Division of Economic Relations and Cooperation, met with Mr. Mohammed Yousef Mulla Yaqoub, Assistant Director-General for Business Development of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), and H.E. Mr. Rashaid A. Al-Bader, Acting Director-General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. The meetings focused on ways to promote economic, investment and development cooperation, as well as exchanging views on opportunities to further expand cooperation between Thailand and Kuwait in areas of mutual potential and interest.
