ทั้งสองฝ่ายทบทวนพลวัตในความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยกับคูเวตที่มีมายาวนานกว่า ๖๓ ปี และแสดงเจตนารมณ์ที่จะขยายความร่วมมือในประเด็นที่มีความสนใจร่วมกัน อาทิ ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร การท่องเที่ยว การให้บริการด้านสุขภาพ การค้าการลงทุน รวมถึงการสนับสนุนซึ่งกันและกันในกรอบพหุภาคี โดยเฉพาะกรอบความร่วมมือเอเชีย (Asia Cooperation Dialogue: ACD)

นอกจากนี้ ที่ประชุมได้หารือเกี่ยวกับการผลักดันการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนของผู้แทนทั้งภาครัฐและภาคธุรกิจ โดยฝ่ายคูเวตให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญทั้งด้านการแพทย์และการควบคุมคุณภาพอาหาร รวมถึงการรับรองมาตรฐานฮาลาล ขณะที่ฝ่ายไทยเสนอให้ส่งเสริมการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างหอการค้าของทั้งสองประเทศ การเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านบุคลากรทางการแพทย์และระบบส่งต่อผู้ป่วย และขยายความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ

On 27 September 2026, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait, co-chaired the second Political Consultations between Thailand and Kuwait at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait.

On this occasion, both sides reviewed 63 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Kuwait, and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest such as food security, tourism healthcare trade and investment as well as mutual support under multilateral frameworks, particularly the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD).

In addition, both sides supported the discussion for exchange of visits by governmental and business delegations. In this regard, Kuwait proposed the exchange of medical expertise and knowledge sharing on food quality control standards including Halal accreditation. On the other hand, Thailand proposed the promotion of engagement between the Chambers of Commerce of Thailand and Kuwait, cooperation on medical personnel and patient referral system, and the expansion of economic partnership.
