On 25 May 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Minister Counsellor, and Mr. Dhanaphatra Chuenarom, Second Secretary, led a delegation of Kuwaiti business representatives to Thailand under the Thailand-Kuwait Trade Partnership Development Project for a meeting with Mr. Sujarit Mayalarp, Senior President of CPF Global Food Solution Public Company Limited (CPF), and the company’s executives at CP Tower 1, Bangkok. The meeting served as an opportunity for both sides to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral trade cooperation.

During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on market trends in the food and agricultural sectors in Kuwait and the broader Middle East region, as well as prospects for expanding Thai food exports to Kuwait, particularly premium processed food products, which continue to gain popularity and demonstrate strong growth potential in the Kuwaiti market.

On this occasion, the Kuwaiti business delegation also received a comprehensive briefing on CPF’s business operations, integrated food production system, food quality and safety standards, and supply chain management practices. The visit underscored Thailand’s readiness and capability to serve as a reliable source of high-quality food products and a long-term partner in supporting Kuwait’s food security objectives under Kuwait Vision 2035.
