The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait led a delegation of Kuwaiti business representatives to attend the opening ceremony of THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center

On 27 May 2026, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Minister Counsellor, and Mr. Dhanaphatra Chuenarom, Second Secretary, led a delegation of Kuwaiti business representatives to attend the opening ceremony of THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center. The opening ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand.


On this occasion, the Prime Minister highlighted Thailand’s role as the “Kitchen of the World” and outlined the Government’s vision of elevating the country to become the “Future Food Hub of the World” through the promotion of food innovation and the enhancement of value-added agricultural and food products. He also underscored Thailand’s readiness to serve as a reliable partner in strengthening food security for the region and the global community amid increasing global challenges.


Following the opening ceremony, the Kuwaiti business delegation visited exhibition booths of Thai and international exhibitors and participated in business matching activities to explore opportunities for expanding imports of Thai food and beverage products into the Kuwaiti market.


THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 is regarded as one of Asia’s most prominent food and beverage trade exhibitions, bringing together more than 3,600 companies from around the world. The event serves as an important platform for promoting international trade, fostering business networking, and expanding market opportunities for the global food and beverage industry.
