Iftar Gathering at the Royal Thai Embassy
In celebration of the sacred month of Ramadan, the Royal Thai Embassy organized an Iftar gathering in the month of Ramadan 1446 AH for esteemed guests from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, educational institutions, and foundations in Kuwait that have contributions in fostering educational collaboration between Thailand and Kuwait, as well as supporting Thai students in Kuwait. The Embassy also welcomed the Thai students and member of the Thai Student Association in Kuwait to the Iftar gathering.
H.E. Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, the Ambassador of Thailand, conveyed his appreciation for their attendance in the congregation prayers and the Iftar party at the Embassy that evening. He commended the Muslim community in Kuwait who committed to fulfilling their religious obligations and fasting during the holy month, demonstrating patience and cleansing their hearts, which are regarded as commendable acts. The Ambassador also highlighted the unique and vibrant Ramadan in Kuwait in strengthening brotherhood and sisterhood, and praised Kuwaiti Diwaniya tradition for preserving social and family bonds.
The Ambassador took this opportunity to express gratitude to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, educational institutions, and foundations in Kuwait for their generousity and consistent support towards the Embassy and Thai students in Kuwait. With a spirit of goodwill and friendship, Mr. Sattam Al-Muzain, Manager of the Foreign Relations Department of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, bestowed books and materials on religious, cultural, and general information about Kuwait and the Islamic world to the library of the Royal Thai Embassy, where provides a learning resource for Thai students and the Thai community in Kuwait.
