On 7 August 2025, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d'Affaires a.i. attended the ASEAN Committee in Kuwait (ACK) meeting at the Regency Hotel, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Nguyen Duc Thang, Ambassador of Vietnam to Kuwait and the current ACK chairperson.

 

During the meeting, the Chargée d'Affaires a.i. joined ambassadors and representative of ASEAN members to commemorate the 58th Anniversary since the founding of ASEAN on 8 August 1967. The ACK also discussed the preparation for upcoming activities in Kuwait and the outcome of ASEAN meetings in 2025, including the ASEAN- GCC Summit, as members continue to promote cooperation between ASEAN and the GCC countries.
