On 18 August 2025, Mrs. Uraiwan Courtaud, Chargée d'Affaires a.i. paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ambassador Sameeh Essa Johar Hayat, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait, upon her assumption of duty.

On this occasion, both sides also exchanged views on advancing the negotiation of pending bilateral agreements, building on the outcomes of the first Thailand–Kuwait Political Consultation, hosted by Thailand in December 2024 in Bangkok. The Chargée d’Affaires a.i. also highlighted the Royal Thai Embassy’s upcoming activities for 2025–2026, with a particular focus on projects in health tourism and food security.
