Ambassador’s Greetings

“First of all, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to the people of Kuwait. It is my honour and pleasure to have been appointed as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the State of Kuwait.

Upon my arrival, I have witnessed the tireless efforts of the Kuwaiti government in preserving the safety and livelihood of residents amidst the ongoing situation in the region. In this regard, I would like to express my profound appreciation for the support of Kuwait’s leadership, Government and the Kuwaiti people which has enabled the Embassy to assist Thai nationals during this critical time.

Thailand and Kuwait have enjoyed 63 years of diplomatic relations built on mutual respect, friendship, and cooperation. Over the years, our two nations have strengthened ties which enabled both sides to organise the first Thailand-Kuwait Political Consultation in Bangkok in 2024. It is my firm belief that this partnership holds even greater potential, and I am committed to working closely with Kuwaiti authorities and private sector to expand collaboration in ways that benefit both countries, including through multilateral frameworks and organizations such as the Asia Cooperation Dialogue.

Through trade and people-to-people exchanges, I look forward to strengthening cooperation in key areas such as healthcare, food security and wellness tourism. Thailand is known to be one of the favourite destinations for Kuwaitis and residents. Building on this foundation of trust, I stand ready to further strengthen confidence in Thailand’s high quality medical services and wellness offerings, while also reinforcing our role as a reliable, globally recognised exporter of food products, including Halal food. 

I am firmly convinced that our mutually beneficial cooperation will not only bring tangible advantages to our people, but also contribute to the realisation of Kuwait’s 2035 Vision in the future.

As Ambassador, I would like to reaffirm Thailand’s steadfast commitment to the close, trusting and an enduring friendship between our two countries. Rooted in mutual respect and genuine goodwill, this relation is one that we deeply cherish. 

Looking ahead, I am confident that, through continued cooperation and shared aspirations, we will strengthen our partnership, bring our peoples closer and enrich bonds of understanding and friendship that unite Thailand and Kuwait.”
