On 11 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand, signed the book of condolences on the passing of H.E. Mr. Xaysomphone Phomvihane, President of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR, at the Embassy of the Lao PDR in the State of Kuwait.
The Embassy would like to convey our deepest condolences to the Government and people of the Lao PDR, with whom Thailand has cherished close relations and longstanding neighbourly friendship.
