On 20 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Songchai Chaipatiyut, Ambassador of Thailand, met with H.E. Nawaf Abdullatif Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs of Kuwait.

On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated H.E. Assistant Foreign Minister Al-Ahmad on the assumption of his new position. During the meeting, both sides discussed the strengthening of Thailand – Kuwait relations though the Embassy’s economic and cultural programmes, engagement with relevant agencies and private sector, and cooperation under multilateral frameworks. In addition, both sides also exchanged views on the situation in the region and consular matters of mutual interest.
