On 3 August 2018, as part of the Royal Thai Embassy’s consular outreach program, Mr. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, the embassy’s staff and members of the Thai Club in Kuwait, visited Thai workers working for Hyundai Kogas Company (HDKC) at the workers’ camp located in Mina Al Zour area, 75 kilometres south of Kuwait City. The Embassy provided services, including passport renewing, labour counseling and basic medical check up for around 200 Thai workers. It is worth nothing that the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait has received the continued and invaluable cooperation from the Life Connection Church’s medical team which always supports the Embassy’s consular outreach program. The Embassy also distributed pamphlets on useful information about Kuwait such as tourist attractions, supermarkets, do's and don't's,  employment regulations and contact information in case of an emergency to the Thai workers.

This consular outreach program followed the similar one held at the wokers’ camp of Al Zour Shoreline General Trading Co. in April 2018. Both the employing companies and the Thai workers have expressed this appreciation on the Embassy’s consular outreach program, saying it has helped boosting morale of the workers.
