On 18 July 2018, H.E. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait joined other ASEAN Ambassadors in Kuwait at the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Festival organised by Lulu Hypermarket. The Festival has been showcasing fresh and processed food, fruits as well as varieties of products from ASEAN countries. It does not only help promote ASEAN products but also raise the locals’ awareness of ASEAN’s presence. Lulu which controls 32 per cent of the market of the consumer goods and products in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region has been importing a lot of goods from ASEAN countries, especially Thailand.
