On 21 December 2017, Ambassador discussed with the CEOs of Alshaya to explore the opportunity for Thai producers to exports food products from Thailand to restaurants in Kuwait. Alshaya company is an operated franchise company with 80 brands, including Starbucks, H&M, Mothercare, Debenhams, American Eagle Outfitters, P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, Victoria's Secret, Boots, Pottery Barn and KidZania. 25 of 80 franchise brands are restaurants. Alshaya has over 50,000 employees, more than 3,500 stores and in 2018, another 100 stores are planned to open.
