On 29 November 2013, His Excellency Ambassador of Thailand and his wife presided over the evening function in celebration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 86th Birthday Anniversary at the Royal Thai Embassy.  His Excellency and his wife led a crowd of Thais to light candles and offer blessings to His Majesty the King.  The candle lighting was followed by the singing of Thai Royal Anthem and loud chantings of "Long Live the King".

After the ceremony, all Thais in Kuwait and their family were invited to the reception held in a cozy atmosphere at the Embassy.
