Guidelines for Foreign Nationals Travelling to Thailand
During COVID-19 Pandemic

In accordance with the Notification of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand dated 19 March 2020, every foreign passenger, who wishes to travel to the Kingdom of Thailand by air transportation, must present
the following documents at the airlines check-in counter in order to obtain
a boarding pass
:

 

  1. Health Certificate certifying that the passenger(s) “have no evidence of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)”. The said health certificate must be issued no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel.

 

  1.  Health Insurance/Health Insurance Policy showing minimum medical coverage of 100,000 USD in Thailand and covers for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)

 

For any passenger who is unable to present these required documents, the airlines shall not issue a boarding pass and boarding shall be denied.

 

In this connection, the visa applicants require to submit
the afore-mentioned health certificate and health insurance
 in addition to
the ordinary required documents. If the visa applicant is unable to present
the required above documents, the visa application will be denied. For those who do not require a visa for entry into Thailand, such as Kuwaiti passport holders (exempt for travel to Thailand for no more than 30 days), must obtain the said documents as well.

 

The above-mentioned measures shall be effective from 21 March 2020 at 20.00 hrs. Kuwait time.
