The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait wishes to congratulate Mr. Anwa A-Lee from Pattani Province who won the 5^th prize (Recitation Section) at the 10^th Kuwait International Prize for Recitation and Memorizing the Holy Quran held between 9-17 April 2019 in Kuwait City.

The Kuwait International Prize for Recitation and Memorizing the Holy Quran is held annually under the royal patronage of the Amir of Kuwait. There were participants from 75 countries attending the event this year, including two Thai Quran readers; Mr. Anwa A-Lee in the Recitation Section and Mr. Sordeegeen Ha-Ma in the Memorizing Section. Other winners in the Recitation Section were from Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Iran.
